Hello My Horde,

I have some books I read that I want to share with you. Hopefully You will enjoy them as much as I did.,

Tarnished Empire:

Book one Review:

At first I did not enjoy the beginning of the book. The main female character is slightly annoying to me. The love interest was Soso. But in the end I did find this book steamy and enjoyable. I would not be opposed to reading it again.

Synopsis:

Is it so bad that I tricked my older brother’s best friend into taking my virginity?
Maybe.

In my defense, it was Dante Reid—my crush, my first love, and the one I ended up pushing away.
Our paths split in opposite directions.
I went to college on one coast while he returned to work with the US Army on the other.
The end.
Or so I thought.

After graduating and attempting a bucket list of self-discovery, guess who I find standing outside the jail, bailing me out from a crime I didn’t commit?
Dante freaking Reid—this time with more muscles, more tattoos, and more demands.
One of which is to move in across the hall from him so he can keep me safe. Like I need protection after a little felony mix-up.

I don’t.
Unless it’s from him.
Because Dante has been my downfall before …

And living next to the guy I gave my innocence to a long time ago may actually end in my complete devastation.

Shain Rose is back with another light mafia standalone romance with forced proximity, steam, and bucket list to cross off. This is a standalone romance with 95,000+ words.

Aliens among us:

Book one Review:

Okay so I get it’s a short book so there is so much you can do. But I do not like the way she just accepted their situation and just going with it. All in all, my grievances with this book was not enough for me to drop it. I read it to the end and it was okay.

Synopsis:

An undercover alien. A curvy human female he’s desperate to claim. One month to make her his.

Tabitha Mathews has never had much luck with men. Her past relationships only left her heart aching and her self-esteem beaten down. But who needs them? She’s doing just fine on her own. She has a booming home business, an adorable, mischievous dog, and she just became a first-time homeowner…right next door to the hottest man she’s ever seen.

Oh, did she mention that he happens to be an alien? An alien with dreamy, glowing eyes, wicked fangs and claws, and a tail.

But she’s not supposed to know that, and only finds out after her wonderfully considerate dog leaves a big, odorous gift in her neighbor’s back yard—which promptly results in her being kidnapped.

Now she’s tied to the alien’s bed, because of course he’s come to Earth in search of a mate—and he wants Tabitha to fill that role. More specifically, he wants her to carry his baby.

Saying he’s moving fast seems like a bit of an understatement. Is Tabitha willing to accept her alien abductor as a mate? Is she ready to be a mother?

And he’s generous enough to give her four whole weeks to decide.

It’s not like it’s the biggest decision of her life or anything…right?

The Harder They Fall:

Book one Review:

Hilarious and I loved it. Her so called best friend turned out to be an ass but she bounced back. Got a man that loves both her and her adorable little munchkin. Like that man was gone from the first cuddle.

Synopsis:

My boss, Elliot Levy is intolerable, and I tell him so everyday…in the little notes I write and then hide in the back of my desk.

I can’t exactly say to his face that I’m convinced he’s a cyborg, considering I’m about to become a single mother and I really need to keep my job as his assistant.

Elliot never looks at me, so he doesn’t even notice I’m pregnant until I’m seven months along. The first thing he asks is if I’m planning to come back to work once I have the baby.

Not unexpected.

What is unexpected is Elliot coming to my rescue when I need a place to stay after my daughter is born. While living with him, I get to see a whole other side of him…especially when he walks around his house without a shirt on.

Which he does, ALL. THE. TIME.

I shouldn’t look, but I can’t help it. He’s gorgeous in a suit, but out of one? Devastating.

Elliot shows me he isn’t the heartless robot I once thought. It’s still terrifying to take a chance on him, even when he holds my baby like she’s precious to him, and he touches me like he’s been longing to for ages.

Now that he has me, he isn’t letting me go without a fight.

And Elliot Levy didn’t get where he is in business without learning a few underhanded tricks. What will he do to keep me? To keep us?

P.S. I think I’m falling for you.

Someone else you should look up, here's the synopsis.

My gorgeous neighbor just found my box of “personal toys.” And my mission to steal them back…Ended in his bed.It was supposed to be a my best friend raunchy toys for her bridal shower and embarrass her in front of her family. But when my package is wrongly delivered to my gorgeous, mysterious neighbor,I’m the one who ends up mortified.I sneak over to his place to try stealing it back before he finds it.

The problem is, I get caught mid-heist…And then he makes me stay for dinner.Dinner leads to dessert and dessert leads to… other dessert, if you get my drift.Several courses of sweet, sinful temptation. In my defense, he’s even more gorgeous up close than he is from my bedroom window.

When I finally get back home the next morning, I open my stolen prize. But it seems I grabbed the wrong package. And the violent mess I find inside will change my life forever.Turns out my hot neighbor is a Russian Bratva boss, with some deep, dark secrets.Turns out he got me pregnant, too.

MIDNIGHT PURGATORY is Book 1 of the Bugrov Bratva duet. Uri and Alyssa’s story continues in Book 2 of the Bugrov Bratva duet, MIDNIGHT SANCTUARY.
