Today we will look at a little snippet from a class text book about a mode of transportation!

Which means: Woven Path

The concept of these Gates were Introduced to us through a world Traveler. After which we asked him to work with our Astral Weavers and Artifact Fabricators in order to create them.

In the process, A lot of short range traveling devises were developed. Here are a few examples:

Note: We will not go into full detail about them here

  • Generally used for single or small groups going short distances
  • Depending on where you are going they may hook up to a Πέρασμα to avoid conflicts
  • Which were adapted and refined. Quickly took the place of the older versions from the first world.
  • Usually used for smaller groups
  • Same concept as Elevator’s
  • It is used for large groups, or heavy items
  • Same concept as telepads
  • It is used for large groups, or heavy items going short distances

Information

Inventor

There were a lot of people that contributed to the creation of these devises, but the name of the World Traveler who they credited as the true inventor was lost in the history books.

 

Some assumed a spell caused the person’s name to be wiped from all memories and Knowledge. For such a thing to happen would Mean A Deity of some sort helped them. Though the reason will never be know the person will be thought of as a great innovator who helped them progress a step forward.

Alterations

Very few alterations were made to the devise since its creation. Most of the alterations was design, style, etc. Some for simple superficial reasons and some for functionality for where it was being put.


All Alterations to vital parts that involved the function of the device its self were to anchor them with more stability. And to make connections to short travel devises possible.

Magical Issues
  1. The residue or foot print left behind by the gates was immense. A lot of study was made to reduce it.
  2. Including the linking up of neighboring short range devices.
  3. So basically altering the routes so that: instead of A to B; it became A to B to C.
  4. Doing this and moving it along an already established path helped lower Magical residue.
  5. Each Gate needs to be maintained on a monthly bases to re-evaluate or recalibrate.
  6. Any gets deemed dangerous or a liability to the surrounding areas because of magic residue, or any alerting matter. Will be shut down in normal fashion of releasing the energy back into the Flow. As well as releasing all astral/magical tethers, anchors, et.
  7. All material’s will be taken to a major de enchanting establishment to make sure all residue magical signatures and more are gone except for the natural ones already found in them naturally. Then sent to recycling Establishments.
Magical Non Notes

A side benefit to the gates it when a investigation found out elemental and purely magical beings using the gate ways like doors.

 

From what we can understand from them its like the old world version of highways for them. While their regular way of traveling is like going by foot or carriage

 

They find it very convenient when they need to do fast mass migration

 

Which lead to another branch of study for Elementalist everywhere.

Non Magical Issuies
  1. Most non magical issues revolve about:
    • Aesthetically pleasing issues; foundation issues to make sure it can be supported.
  2. Sometimes finding the right material for where it will be placed.
    • Water proof, Can sustain a certain amount of heat,  Etc.

Acquiring these gates or any form of them has become a marker of status in the populous

Laws and Punishments

Use of υφαντός διαδρομή does have certain limitation inregards to the users skill and current area.

  • Level limitations
  • Area limitations

Any and all illegal υφαντός διαδρομή, or portals of any kind will be immediately aprihended and shutdown.

  • They are a danger to the environment, time, space and planet itself
  • After an in investigation violators can face these punishments depending on verdict of severity and more:
    • Death
    • Confiscation of all properties
    • Loss of all and any bonds
    • Temporary or permanent Binding of Magic
    • Put into a slave/workers bond of the areas closest to the said portal redoing all damage done.
      • If at time of death damage is still not undone bond and punishment will go to the eldest living descendants until it is undone.
    • Bondage of you and all descendants to the closest areas to the damage until such time a Deity assigning punishment deems appropriate.
    • If bloodline held a high status and this punishment is laid out none of this bloodline can ever reach the they once had or had as punishment.
    • If blood line is breed out all above no longer applies.
    • If a two soul entity (ie. Certain shifters) punishment if severe enough could lead to separation of said souls by deities or whoever they give the power to, for Either:
      • Specified amount of time
    • Till certain deed is done
    • Throughout duration of this life
    • For extreme cases punishment can last through reincarnations.
    • Cut off from all magic through magical chains, that sever all ties and bound you to a magical Warden
      • Which is to be noted not the same as just binding magic
    • This cuts them off from all sense of connection to the Source.
    • In the most severe cases where Bondye gets involved.
    • Turned into a Die Verlassenen
      • I.e. One Abandoned by all Gods, Deities, etc.
        • We will have it noted that if one never finds forgiveness from Bondye and punishment never reversed.
    • One has a chance to turn into a Chaos Entity and lose all identity of self, and become a creature of pure unpredictable chaos.
      • Which may or not be sent back to the source by a God’s chosen depending on what one does as one.
