Hello My Horde,

Let me tell you all about how high maintenance an eater my Yuna Baby is!

Challange

The first couple of weeks we got my baby she just wouldn’t eat her dog food. She would eat other food and vegetable, etc. we give her though. Took her into the vet only to find out she’s healthy and fine. She’s just a picky eater.

They recommended not giving her other foods and she’ll eat when she’s hungry. Yeah two days of that and I caved quickly. I couldn’t hold out longer because shes the puppy and she needs foods.

Research:

So I looked up her breed tried to find advice and more of what to feed her. What I found out was conflicting info except for a few points:

Staffordshire Terriers:

  • Are picky eaters
  • Do not like foods with grains
  • High chance of chicken allergy
  • More times than not does not like foods with preservatives.
  • Have a higher chance they will like it if it is organic
Some do not like eating the same thing to many times in a row. Toppers or little added fresh food every so often will help.

All this turns out to be true with this little rascal.

The Hunt:

Thus began our hunt for food she would like. We bought small amounts afraid she will just stop eating it after a few days.

Wet, Dry, Half and Half, the max number of days seemed 3. Then we found one she actually liked, mind you thin took almost a year of struggling to find.

Then Funny enough the shipping got messed up on her usual meds so we went to wholefoods while we were getting water for our cooler. We found out she loves Their whole paws dog foods, almost every flavor we tried.

While she did like and enjoy I and Love and You Naked Essentials, She pounced on Whole paws greedily. 😆

See you next week!!
