Hello My Horde,
I have some Vampire books and some other books that I read, and I want to share them with you. Hopefully You will enjoy them as much as I did.,
The Hollows Series:
Review:
So I first got introduce into this book series via audio book. It was my second audio book one and the first in the genre and I was skeptical. But the first time She had him Say her whole full name I was hooked and slightly turned on. XD Smut is not the focal of this series. But it has some, both on and off screen if you will. I really love this book series but her narrator ruined being able to read the book cause her voice just adds so much more to it.
Synopsis:
All the creatures of the night gather in “the Hollows” of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party… and to feed.
Vampires rule the darkness in a predator-eat-predator world rife with dangers beyond imagining – and it’s Rachel Morgan’s job to keep that world civilized.
A bounty hunter and witch with serious sex appeal and an attitude, she’ll bring ’em back alive, dead… or undead.
Chicagoland Vampires Series:
Review:
This book series is fabulous, I love every torturing moment she puts me through. I yelled a few times at a few people just being idiots. It has a few smut scenes but its not the focus which I was okay with. Even though I wished very hard for them. 🤣
Synopsis:
They killed me. They healed me. They changed me.
Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn’t exactly glamorous, but it was Merit’s. She was doing fine until a rogue vampire attacked her. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker–and this one decided the best way to save her life was to make her the walking undead.
Turns out her savior was the master vampire of Cadogan House. Now she’s traded sweating over her thesis for learning to fit in at a Hyde Park mansion full of vamps loyal to Ethan Sullivan. Of course, as a tall, green-eyed, four-hundred-year-old vampire, he has centuries’ worth of charm, but unfortunately, he expects her gratitude–and servitude.
But an inconvenient sunlight allergy and Ethan’s attitude are the least of her concerns. Someone’s still out to get her. Her initiation into Chicago’s nightlife may be the first skirmish in a war–and there will be blood.
The House of Night Series:
Review:
This series is a roller-coaster of I like and dislike for me. It was many situations that made me put off a little. Yet there were other parts I couldn’t get more of. I just stop at some point late in the series just because it was just becoming too much. I might at some point attempt to read the book I stopped at but I’m really uncertain of that happening. Not a DNR just a meh.
Synopsis:
After a Vampire Tracker Marks her with a crescent moon on her forehead, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx and has affinities for all five elements: Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit.
But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school’s most elite club, is misusing her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny—with a little help from her new vampyre friends (or Nerd Herd, as Aphrodite calls them).
Blood and chocolate
(Note: Hated every move rendition I have seen of it so far)
Vivian Gandillon relishes the change, the sweet, fierce ache that carries her from girl to wolf. At sixteen, she is beautiful and strong, and all the young wolves are on her tail. But Vivian still grieves for her dead father; her pack remains leaderless and in disarray, and she feels lost in the suburbs of Maryland. She longs for a normal life. But what is normal for a werewolf?
Then Vivian falls in love with a human, a meat-boy. Aiden is kind and gentle, a welcome relief from the squabbling pack. He’s fascinated by magic, and Vivian longs to reveal herself to him. Surely he would understand her and delight in the wonder of her dual nature, not fear her as an ordinary human would.
Vivian’s divided loyalties are strained further when a brutal murder threatens to expose the pack. Moving between two worlds, she does not seem to belong in either. What is she really—human or beast? Which tastes sweeter—blood or chocolate?
